Brief Impulsa
What does design mean to you? What does design mean to us?

Deadline extended: ¡Participate until September 20th!

The main objective of ´Brief Impulsa´ is to make design visible to the external audience of the general public; to demonstrate its ubiquity and value and also reveal the people who are engaged with it.

It’s a project that has been organised by students for students, Brief festival provides the opportunity to improve the prospects of our profession. As a result, we as students and future designers consider ourselves responsible to communicate what we do, how we do it, what purpose it serves and why we dedicate ourselves to design.

With the aim of responding to these questions, ´Brief Impulsa´ has launched an open call with the title ´What does design mean to you? What does design mean to us?´. The call is specifically directed at students working within design disciplines. We are looking for students to submit their own personal projects in which they demonstrate the usefulness of design for society (What does design mean to you?) and also what design represents in their own lives (What does design mean to us?).

The projects submitted will be judged by a team of well-established designers and will form part of an exhibition in the Mario Vargas Llosa public library in central Madrid in October 2016. We will use the exhibition format to present our vision of design to the public.

If you are a design student and would like to form part of Brief Impulsa, send your proposal to .
