Solimán López (Burgos, Spain, 1981), BA in Art History and Master of Arts and Communi- cation, develops his artistic work continuously crossing the thin line between the intangible and tangible, reflecting on the idea of non ditigal identity, the erosion of overload information on social strata, the overexposure of privacy in the context of the social or the behavior of the memory in the XXI century. This is basting with the use of new technologies as a way of approach, masking and channel of communication with the viewer and himself.

His works have been exhibited in more than a dozen different countries, among which in- clude the I Biennial Venezuela Emerging Art, Video Art Festival of Camagüey (Cuba ), SPAM his last exhibition in Basel (SwitzerlandArtspace) or artistic residency in Greece , thanks to athenian contemporary art platform named, Create an Accident.

It also emphasizes the performance “Follow us” as presentation of the Festival MADATAC in CentroCentro Cibeles (Madrid) He has recently participated in the CAC Malaga and SUMMA Art Fair, at Matadero Madrid, with “Tecnometries “, one of his lastest site specific/performan- ce artpieces.

The artist has been selected by more than a dozen national and international competitions in the past year , as Iberart , Buenos Aires Oculto or TEDx Valladolid, where he developed Wanna Be, a solo exhibition for LAVA (Laboratory of the arts of Valladolid). Recently he has been scholarship by the Cultural City of Santiago de Compostela in the “Encontro de Novos Aritstas” and selected for the EspacioEnter (TEA Tenerife) , on the interactive art and video section, respectively.

Artist conceived the art as a repository of information, idea represented in works like the Harddiskmuseum, a museum living in a hard disk of 2TB or his latest serie in Infomanic where explores the art as an interface to bring information to the audience. In this context is currently investigating the new ways of representation such as 3d printed litophanes and printed electronic.
