Where in #Brief2015? Works from Vasava will be displayed inside the exhibition Diseñadores con mucha letra
They have clients all over the world, but they are based in an old garage in Barcelona. It started in 1997 with only two people: Bruno and his dad Toni. Enric joined them a few years later, becoming the third member. This is when they created their logo, based on an inverted Escher triangle: an impossible logo for three people that move in the irrational.
Vasava was part of a wave of independent studios that appeared during the 90s. Today, 17 people work at Vasava and they do it all themselves, from design to illustration, video and animation. Their commercial success is due to their need to experiment both in work and at home. Their personal design and art projects have appeared in several books and exhibitions all over the world. They have given conferences in LA, Stockholm, Beijing and Buenos Aires. Throught this strategy, they have earned the loyalty and respect of their clients such as Nike, Hennessy, Adobe, Diesel, 55DSL, Mango, Budweiser and Red Bull. They have done illustrations for magazines like Billboard and Fast Company and covers for Variety.
