Puño has been a self taught illustrator since 1994. His work has been shown in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao, among other cities. He works in the illustrated book, comic and poetry fields, with various published pieces in magazines, publishing houses and across various digital platforms. He also channels his creativity through the collective Ultrarradio. He won the SM Illustration Foundation International Prize in 2009, First Prize Creacómic CAM in 2009, First Photography Prize Cinemad in 2008, third prize Nontzeflash – Animation Shortfilms in 2006 and Best Animation Shortfilm prize ARPO in 2001.
