Paloma Rincón is a photographer based in Madrid. She works internationally on a wide range of projects: from commercial campaigns for big brands, to personal projects and more experimental images.
Paloma creates photographic images that combine different techniques and languages. The final results reveal worlds in which shapes, materials, textures, lights and typography mix and cohabit in graphic compositions of great detail, where the line between real and virtual disappears.
Using photography, sculpture and design she develops her work through a meticulous process where elements are placed out of their context, thus redefining their meaning. Her images combine a precise and detailed use of technique and the crafted creativity of an artist. The beauty of the “handmade” regains its value and magic.
She was born in Mexico D.F. but moved to Madrid where she now studies Audiovisual Communication at Complutense University. Here she met Sergio del Puerto, creative director of Serial Cut studio. They began combining photography and design in their works, forming a close professional relationship which continues today.
