Diego Areso is the art director of El País newspaper, where he coordinates the design of El País Semanal, Babelia, Ideas, El Viajero and Negocios supplements. He has been designing magazines and newspapers for more than 20 years.
From 2014 to 2016 he worked at Condé Nast Mexico in the redesign of the Vogue, GQ, Glamor and AD magazines, as well as in the Vanity Fair art direction. Previously, he was art director of S Moda and head of design for the newspaper Público. He has also worked for magazines such as PlayStation, Xtreme-Superjuegos, MAN, Maxim or Quo.
He holds a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University.
