Ha sido Editor Ejecutivo de Diseño y Cultura Pop en TASCHEN Publishing House donde ahora ocupa el puesto de Director de Publicaciones Digitales. Ha editado más de 50 libros durante los más de 13 años que lleva trabajando en la editorial, es un colaborador habitual de revistas, y ha estado en el jurado de varios premios internacionales. Las publicaciones que ha dirigido Wiedemann han vendido más de 1,5 millones de copias en todo el mundo, y sus títulos más populares son: Information Graphics, las series illustration Now!, Logo Design, Japanese Graphics Now!, y libros sobre portadas de discos y diseño web.
